Terms
Last updated 5 September 2026
What you can expect from us, and what we need from you. Plain terms, because a jastip runs on trust before it runs on paperwork.
What we are
We buy things abroad on your behalf and carry them back. We are not the brand, the manufacturer or an authorised distributor, and we make no claim to be. What we can promise is where a thing came from, because we bought it ourselves and kept the receipt.
Asking is free
Adding to a basket, sending it, and getting a price all cost nothing and commit you to nothing. You are in it when you accept a quote, and not before.
The quote
A quote is itemised: what the shop charged, our fee, tax where customs charges it, and delivery. It holds until the expiry shown on it. After that the exchange rate has usually moved and we will send you a fresh one.
Paying
In full, by bank transfer, before we buy. We are spending real money in another country on your behalf, so nothing is bought on a promise. A transfer may arrive in two goes if your bank caps it; the order waits for the total, not for one payment.
If we cannot get it
Sold out, pulled, or refused at customs: we tell you, and you get your money back for that item. We do not substitute something similar without asking you first.
Dates are estimates
Departure and arrival are the plan, not a guarantee. Flights move, customs takes what it takes, and couriers have their own weather. We tell you when something slips rather than letting you find out by waiting.
Returns
Personal shopping is not a shop window, so we cannot take something back because you changed your mind about it. If we brought the wrong thing, or it arrived damaged, tell us within three days of delivery with a photo and we will replace it or refund it.
Where this stands
These terms are governed by Indonesian law. If something here turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
Questions about any of this reach us on WhatsApp, or through the details in the footer.
